Seems like I have no time......

to post or anything else. Last week had me out of sorts. Wednesday around 4pm at work I suddenly started to shiver violently; asked to go home early. Driving home was a challenge in itself. I gripped the steering wheel so I won't go all over the road while trying to keep my body from shaking just made my muscles bunch up in knots. Made it home and headed straight for the couch. Blankets piled high and armed with a bottle of water and the remote. I layed there shivering most of the night with a fever of 103. It finally broke mid morning; then the sweats started. By evening I was feeling drained and then I had to start the yucky bowel cleasing for my colonscope that was hell all wrapped in one. I was so glued to the throne that the neighbors had to go pick the Lover up for me. He came down to be with me during the scope because I'm a big baby when it comes to me having a procedure done. Things went well; they removed 5 polylops (my spelling sucks today) and on Wednesday morning I have a liver and gallbladder ultra-sound. Then I wait for the results. So the weekend was great for us. The Lover left today at 6:30am so I went to work for a half day on my day off; this shows you that I just love being a good employee. Yea, right; The truth is I'm just trying to make up for losing two days of work last week. I don't get paid if I take a scheduled day off. Lost all my overtime, oh well, you just never know when one will get sick. I miss the lover already. Well I might as well take advantage of an afternoon off, it's nap time.
Oh, hello to Lakewood, Colorado; Pittsburgh, PA; Winter Park,FL; and New York, NY for stopping by my blog. Next time leave a comment, its free!!!!

Shadow of myself..After I came home from the doctors today I decided to put the plastic panels on the front porch. We won;t have too many more days like today nor will I have the time when I get home from work. Posted by Picasa

Flowers planted by the Indiana Garden Club in the Spring look very inviting in the fall. I was waiting for the light to change today and since the camera was with me and the light was long I had time to take a pic of them. Go ahead and click the pic to enlarge. Enjoy the color. Posted by Picasa

See how many leaves are left on the tree by the sunroom and how many fell overnight. Like I said,"A woman's work is never done." Posted by Picasa

You really had to be here to see the color, the camera didn't do it justice. Posted by Picasa

The lone tree on the dirt lane going into the vast fields of Christmas trees. Posted by Picasa

This is what is called a fence row; it is what borders land properties. The tree with the ribbon on it is mine, someone tore down the No Tresspassing sign from it. About where the sun starts is where I found a pile of core samples, next two pictures are of core samples. Posted by Picasa

Samples of what beneath the ground, I don't know where they came from but they were placed on the fence row of my property and Creno's Tree farm property. Posted by Picasa

Trip for today canceled, with that being said I mowed and mowed and mowed some more. Mulching leaves is boring; around and around you go. As you can see around the tree trunks the leaves gather and thats where they are staying for now. The wind will blow whats left around, while they wait for the rest to fall. I froze mowing, plus I got a headache. But a woman's work is never done. The following pics are to show just how much I went around and around. I left out the front of the place, I was too tired to walk outside again...did I mention I have a headache? As always you can click on any picture to enlarge it. Dlaine now is going to go take some tylenol, have a good weekend all. Posted by Picasa

Still have leaves that haven't fallen; so I'm sure I'll still have to mulch more in the next week of so. Posted by Picasa

Dlaine's Dilemma is solved...

Dlaine's supervisors are awesome! All was taken care of with no mention of names. I even got praise for working as much as I do! They appreciate what I do! Didn't get any good job done from downstairs Hilter Bitches that used to my supervisors. The two downstairs can make or break you. Mostly they broke people. How they keep their jobs is a mystery for Columbo.
Fall seems to be in full swing around here; not so much color wise but leaves on the yard. The rain that we've been having as of late just separates them from the branches. Hopefully we get a strong wind and they blow over to the neighbors, they have a bagger on their lawn mower. Well Dlaine is calling it a night, I'm truely bushed....

Dlaine's dilemma!!! Posted by Picasa

What Can I Say??

As I was leaving work tonight a co-worker who works in the same job entitlement as I said that some other co busybuddies have noticed that I'm working too much overtime. At the present time the company has open overtime and you can come in as early as 6am but you still have to work to the end of your regular shift. My shift is 9:30am to 6pm daily. I've been starting around 7 or 7:30am and staying until 6pm or after if they are running behind in corrections and everyone thats there has to help out. My supervisors have ok'd my working time; so you all say what is the problelm here? That's what I want to know. The co busybodies don't come in early and they don't stay past their quiting time. Nor do they come in on their days off to make the overtime. So why are they worrying about me? Hell, I don't have any family at home nor do I have a second income coming in to help with the bills. I need a comeback to say to these people... Can anyone come up with one for me? I'm speaking with the supervisors tomorrow and I'm going to make sure that overtime is still up for grabs to anyone and maybe they can put some kind internal e-mail out to this fact that anyone who's willing to work can and those who chose not too should keep their busybuddy mouths shut!
