This house looks like a ship. (At least the back-side facing the Welland Canal) I won't mind living in it for the summer months or a week to watch the ships go by in Lock 7. (probably me and ten thousand boatnerds!) 

Can you guess the City from the skyline? If you can then; this is where I've been for the weekend. 

Ok folks, last picture for today. If you enlarge this one, you'll see a Red-tailed Hawk soaring just to the right of the power lines. If you don't enlarge you'll never see it. 

Little purple violets by the pond. Purple versus white? I remember picking the purple ones when I was child for my mother. She would put them in a shot glass because they are so small.

Skunk Cabbage

This bush which is under my bedroom window has an occupant that makes so much noise in the morning that I don't need an alarm clock.

Here's a pic of the 7 Painted turtle to compare, how much they have grown since Sept.16.05. The container that I feed them in is the one they first started in months ago. 

This pic is of the seven Painted Turtles at feeding time this evening. They are the babies of the turtle that is in the next picture that lives in my pond.
