Some Christmas Decor in the Living room. I still have to add bobbles to the trees and do the sunroom in snowpeople and shop..by the time I get it all done it will be time to take it all down again. I need a lesson on time management... Posted by Picasa

This is what we call The Bishop. I know its a Sapsucker, but to me with his black cap on his head and the plumage on his body he reminds me of a Bishop. We don't see him all summer, he justs pops in late fall and stays thru winter and early spring than goes MIA again. Posted by Picasa

Moving On

Wow its been weeks since I've posted. Too busy with work and everyday life. THANKSGIVING came and went. No one came home as usually so I started decorating for Christmas. I'm still amazed at all the stuff one person can accumulate over the years. (five artifical trees, upteen boxes of ornaments, more snowmen than snow, strings and strings of lights that don't work, old and I mean old tinsel, and stuff still in boxes that has never been opened; where in the hell did I get that stuff!) I can open my own Christmas Store, better yet...
I guess I'll have a garage sale in the spring and unload some of this stuff to someone else. I can't keep holding on to memories.
The big Pennsylvania deer seasons begins on Monday and I have to work. I always liked being at home watching for deer to cross the yard; instead I'm going to have to watch them popping out on the road to and from work. They'll be moving around all day long because of the men with their big guns will be after them from daybreak to dark. How is it that a man can get up at 4am to go hunting; but for work he waits to the very last minute to crawl out of bed? I spent thirty years wondering this. What a waste!!! I'm glad to see the weather won't be co-operating for the mighty hunters. Its to be sixty degrees and sunny on Monday. No snow for tracking and when walking in the woods the fallen leaves are so crispy that the deer will hear them coming a half a mile away, run Bambi run. Don't get me wrong here, hunting serves a purpose. It thins the herd and most people like the meat, its good for you, no fat. But almost every man dreams of that one trophy buck too puff up his chest about. (bragging rights) Its like having a stacked blonde bimbo on their arm. All for show. Anyhow, thats all I have for now. I'm off to try some new coffee creamer: Pumpkin Spice...

I Got It!

I did finally satisfy my yum for a Mc-Rib. Made the quick trip to town; got my oil changed, picked up ink cartridges for the printer at Cartridge World. Can't beat the prices 23bucks for two. Half the price that Wally's world charges and the guy guarantee's them; what more can you ask for? Stopped at Wally's world for a few things then on to Mickey's D; fast dash home, nuked the Mc-rib a little and with a cup of coffee with french vanilla creamer my day is pretty perfect. The sun is shining for now and its 52 degrees out, pefect November day. Tomorrow its back to work and all that comes with it. Hope the sun is shining where ever you are and don't forget to vote.

YUM!!

Its Sunday morning and I'm craving one of these! A Mc-Rib! It back for a limited time only; usually three weeks. I had one on Thursday and Friday and I want one today. But I have to drive twenty miles to get one! It will have to wait until tomorrow, no use wasting gas for a Yum run to McDonalds. I'll eat a Healthy Choice out of the freezer for today.

I put feed out for the birds yesterday: Sunflowers, suet and thistle seed. Didn't take them long to find it; with it being 33degress out they needed food for warmth. Today the Bluebirds were flying around in and out of the box they used this past spring for hatching their young. The Chickadees, Nuthatchers and Tufted Titmouse were all feeding. At least someone is getting what they want! Hopefully I'll get some pics of the birds. I dropped the better camera and it works when it wants to. The other camera doesn't have a zoom but it'll do in a pinch. I guess I'm going to birdwatching today from the sunroom. Have a good one all......
